Awning Windows

Designed to keep the elements out, yet allow cool air flow continuously through the building since windows can be opened to various angles which deflect rain: Oran Ltd. offers the Golda 2 with 11" Vents,& the Golda 5 with 8" vents. Both models are operated with a roto mechanism. We also offer the Golda 3 with individually operating vents which utilizes projection stays & friction hinge mechanisms. A variety of standard sizes are available from stock. Customs sizes are available by special order.

Single Hung Sash

Single hung sash windows slide vertically. The top section is fixed while the bottom section moves up & down. Oran Ltd offers the Sararo 5 with colonial muntins, insect screens, block & tackle balances. This product features easy to remove vents for cleaning & maintenance, also a secure automatic locking system. A variety of standard sizes are available from stock. Custom sizes are available by special order.

Double Hung Sash

Double hung sash windows slide vertically. Both top & bottom sections are operable. Oran ltd. offers the Sararo 4 which is a high performance window ideal for commercial applications. It is also widely used by discriminating customers in residential construction. A variety of standard sizes are available from stock. Custom sizes are available by special order.

Horizontal Sliding Windows

Horizontal sliding windows have panels that slide from left to right. Oran Ltd. offers the Gabby 2 & Scott 2 sliding windows which are used in many different applications. Horizontal sliding windows are ideal for use in office buildings and residential housing. A variety of standard sizes are available from stock. Custom sizes are available by special order.

Casement & Projection Windows

Casement windows are hinged on the side and swing out, while projection windows are hinged at the top and swing out. Oran Ltd. offers the RL2 casement / project out / fixed window system that produces a superb, versatile and high performance product that can be used in any of these applications. Standard hardware includes stainless steel friction hinges, and cam locking handles. There are no standard sizes, and combining fixed and operable units can be done in a single frame. This window is well suited for any seaside area where the elements are at their toughest, since all fasteners and hardware are either stainless steel or aluminum which will resist the corrosion.

 

Louvre Windows

Louvre windows are some of the first windows to be used in tropical climates since they can open to any angle and provide excellent ventilation.They consist of 4" deep infills made from either glass, wood, or aluminum. Although the design of the Louvre window does not make it an ideal weather sealing product for high wind areas, it offers design flexibility making it a very popular product. Our Island Blade Louvre window with aluminum blade infills is used in schools because its reinforced design makes it extremely durable. Our Deluxe Frame window is a full frame louvre window that can accommodate either glass or wood infills. Our Zine Gezunt strip hardware Louvrejambs will accommodate wood, glass, and aluminum blades that fit into the Louvre carriers. There is no head and sill, only a pair of jambs. The window width is determined by the width of the opening. Our Deluxe All Aluminum Louvre window has preformed one piece aluminum blades riveted to the frame.

COMMENTS: Available in mill finish, white & bronze electrostatic applied baked-on finishes, & custom colours. Lever and roto operator handles can be used in all cases except for the strip hardware model which requires a lever handle operator. Insect screens can be fitted to all models except the strip hardware model. All windows have vinyl or poly propile weather-stripping between the jambs and blades, and the Island Blade model also has weather-stripping between the blades.
