Consultative & Advisory Services
May consist of investigations and reports, rate structure and tariff studies, or inspections, testing or other services concerning the collection, analysis, evaluation and interpretation of data and information leading to specialized conclusions and recommendations, expert testimony, appraisals, evaluations and development agreements.
Pre-Design Services
May consist of investigation, explanation, survey, soil investigation and other testing analysis of conditions or methods of operation; economic and similar matters undertaken to establish the sizes, capacities, locations, method of operation and other principal features which form the basis for design of a proposed project; and preparation of preliminary estimates
Design Services
Consists of the preparation of detailed engineering design, drawings, specifications, and contract document including:
Preparation of preliminary sketches, resolution of design problems, integral equipment selection and development of specification notes;
- Applications for permits and approvals;
- Preparation of construction schedules;
- Preparation of tender documents and tender calls;
- Assistance and advice to the Client, tenderers and suppliers during the tendering process including tender evaluation and recommendations for award.
Processing of Contract Document
Contract Administration and Review Services During Construction consisting of general administration of the contract, review of shop drawings, periodic visits to the site by the consultant to become generally familiar with the progress and quality of work attendance at project site meetings, constructions progress reports to the Client builder, examination and certification of progress payments and final review of construction and issue of Completion Certificate.
This service is distinct and separate from the services provided by field personnel. This service does not include site field inspections and is in no way to be considered as a substitute for, or assumption of the responsibilities of Field Inspection Service. .
Grenada Public Service Credit Union Head Office Refurbishment, Grenada
This project involved the extensive renovation to the Credit Union's head office. Our staff was responsible for the Project Management Services.
Special Services
Representing the Developer as "Engineer" and technical representative for the purpose of Development Agreement administration, as set out in the Urban Development Institute Field Service Guidelines, in order to observe the progress of the development: and, receive reports, certifications, and applications from the Developer's Consulting Engineer in connection with the performance of the work for acceptance by the Developer. This service does not include direct inspections or approvals by the Engineer, but may result in the issuance of Field Orders for the correction of observed deficiencies not otherwise reported.
The services described above do not include the direction of the "builder" personnel in methods, scheduling, or equipment selection for any stage of the construction or placing of the operation of any plant or equipment.
Field Inspection Services
During construct may consist to survey lay out and construction staking where this is not the responsibility of the "builder" quantity measurement, inspection of construction for compliance with drawings and deficiencies in the work, reporting to the Consultant Contract administrator, reporting to the Client in matters of direct interest or concern, recording changes from design reported during construction, and administration with the client require the continuous presence of field inspectors, however, specifically requested by the client with appropriate fee provisions therefore.
Post Construction Services
May include, but are not limited to assistance in commissioning and start-up, preparation of operating manuals, revision of drawings, to show changes from design and report including construction, and determination of deficiencies during the maintenance period and final acceptance documentation as its expiry.
Post Construction Services
Can be based on: a fixed fee; or time expenses for all projects undertaken, with estimates and/or upset amounts as may be required and agreed between the consultant and the Client: or a percentage fee basis for specific terms of reference in certain circumstances a combination of the preceding monthly for progress of the Consultant work with invoice terms.
