SDI now offers the option of an integrated practice of design and build, or the merging of architecture, project management and construction procurement as a package. This collaboration of services enables us to provide a streamlined and cohesive solution that takes our clients all the way from the inception of an idea, to the handover of keys to the front door through one responsible party.

Project Management
Solid Designs Inc. offers overall management to projects from inception to handover, whether we provided the design or the design solution came from another party. Utilizing our methodology of detailed up-front planning, detailed costing, scheduling and site administration, the project is broken down into small, easily reviewed packages that are tightly managed. Project Management is the ongoing process of planning and controlling the baseline, incorporating the changes and ensuring the close off is complete.

Architectural Design

Cost Estimating
Solid Design offers complete estimating and cost management services to owners, architects, engineers, developers and contractors. Our costing system is based on collating the activities that make up the project and determining how these activities are to be executed. Once determined, the activities are subdivided into labour, time, material, equipment and overhead components and priced accordingly.

Property Appraisals
Solid Design offers the service of determining the construction value or market value of properties for purposes of protective insurance, building repairs or collateral against loans.
